Womenwatch is the central gateway to information and resources on the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women throughout the United Nations system, including the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), the United Nations Secretariat, regional commissions, funds, programmes, specialized agencies, and academic and research institutions. The Arab Human Rights Index – referred to as AHR - chronicles the Arab countries' progress in human rights. It offers concise information about their ratification, reservations, and reports to the international human rights committees, in a one stop access in Arabic, English and French.

Most of the reports, already available at the website of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) are organized on AHR in ways that enable quick comparative analysis. They are organized by country, by core treaty, by human rights committee reports, and by types of available resources (such as country reporting history and shadow reports).

The mission of Persian/ate Gender Network (PGN) is to establish a link and be a focal point among the multitude of organizations and individuals which work on gender issues in Persian-speaking countries(practitioners, researchers, academicians, civil society, policy makers, and advocates), so that they can capitalize on their collective knowledge and synergize each other's work and efforts.
The initial focus of PGN's work program is around women's economic empowerment through employment, self-employment and entrepreneurship. It serves women in Persian speaking countries of Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
PGN is initiated and funded by the World Bank and operated by the Tunisia-based Center for Arab Women's Training and Research (CAWTAR).

Women Gateway was established in 2002 as a joint venture project between the Bahrain Business Women's Society and Al-Nadeem Information Technology. The portal received special care and continuous support from HRH Princess Sabika Bent Ibrahim Alkhalifa wife of his majisty the King of Bahrain , President of the Supreme Council for Women.

Women Gateway addresses the Arab women and provide them with the information and services needed, aiming to enhance their contributions to the development of their communities, and improve their performance in the various fields of bussiness and professions.

The Center of Arab Woman for Training and Research (CAWTAR) was created on March 7, 1993 in response to the request of a number of Arab governments and civil society organizations and institutions. CAWTAR was created to provide the region with a center of research and studies relating to gender and the status of women, of advocacy for the improvement of women's status and of data collection, indicators and statistics.

The AWO is an intergovernmental organization established under the umbrella of the League of Arab States and headquartered in Egypt. It emerged from the Cairo Declaration issued by the First Arab Women Summit which convened in Cairo in November 2000 in response to a call by H.E. Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak, Egypt's First Lady and which was co-organized by the National Council for Women in Egypt, Hariri Foundation in Lebanon and the League of Arab States. The agreement came into effect in March 2003.
