The e-library hosted by portal is intended to be a resources hub and seeks to facilitate access to knowledge related to gender, development, trade and economy, economic and social development and other related subjects... The resources are intended to be used by academics, researchers, students and practitioners.
The e-library provides annotation and details related to most of the included entries.
The portal team continuously researches, collects and disseminates information from:
- Published books, studies and reports
- Articles available in periodicals and journals
- Grey literature
- Web material related to women shared online
The e-portal team collected articles from more than nine periodicals.
These are sorted below and range from publications with general content on Lebanon and the MENA region, international publications and specialized journals focusing on social sciences, development, gender and women studies.

The information collected and archived is available online, and/or on CRTD.A premises at the IRIS (Independent Resources and Information Services) and GLIP (Gender Linking and Information Program) libraries (both located within the CRTD.A premises)
Do not hesitate to browse our library sections and search for material using key words (author name, date, etc…);
The material compiled by the e-portal team is in Arabic, English and French.
Users will also find a synopsis document (updated regularly) which provides brief information about books and reports available at the library.
Users will also notice each article available in the e-library includes reference to the original publication (journal, periodical, etc…).
The web material is categorized in 2 main sections namely “organization website” and “project webpage”.
With a simple click and an easy search, you can browse the e-library related to gender and social development and access detailed information and knowledge material from several sources and in three languages!
